Simple Sugar Cookies for Santa
























As some of you might have seen via Instagram, I've partnered up with Treat Street to create a few fun holiday recipes featuring their super cute treat toppers. The toppers can be found in stores coast to coast including Michaels, Target, Kroger and Walmart.

Here's the recipe for you to try for yourself - 



Ingredients
  • 2.75 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1.5 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can vanilla frosting (or any flavor)
  • nonpareils if desired
  • Treat Street® Treat Decorations

Preparation
  • - Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • - Mix flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and baking powder, in a small mixing bowl.
  • - Blend together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Slowly mix in dry ingredients, in a separate bowl.
  • - Roll small spoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • - Bake 8 to 10 min. or until golden. Let cool.
  • - Decorate with your favorite frosting, Nonpareils, and Treat Street® Treat Decorations
