Get Your Fa-La-La On! My Top 10 Christmas Tunes

Whether you're a "All Christmas Music from Thanksgiving to Christmas" kinda person or just like your occasional "Jingle Bells", everyone is bound to have their favorites!

Here's my list of the top Christmas Songs. This is my own personal opinion and a reflection of my generation... so no judging! Post your favorites in the comments below! Oh, and don't mind some of the super cheesy videos!

1. Nsync - Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays
At the risk of being mocked and scoffed at, I would just like to say that this song makes me flat out happy. This is one that I usually hear early in the season while in a grocery store and immediately have to text my best friend to alert her that holidays are now official. Nsync may have only been around to release one Christmas album, but it's a gem.

2. Olivia Olson - All I Want For Christmas Is You
Yes, of course Mariah made it famous but I can't deny loving this version so much more. I think it's because of the back-story and the look on the kid's face when she points to him.... and then everyone else. Christmas just isn't Christmas without this song.

3. Faith Hill - Where Are You Christmas
This song makes me all verklempt! I think everyone has hit that slump where you just aren't feeling the holiday season. Whether you've been down on your luck, away from family, or away from someone you love, the holidays just don't feel right. And I'm sorry the build up towards the end of the song is just amazing.

4. Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Carol of the Bells
If you ever decided to put Christmas music on your workout playlist, this would be the jam! The energy, the power and the amazing Metallica cameo makes this song electrifying!

5. Britney Spears - My Only Wish
Don't look, my teeney-bopper is showing!! I'm sorry but how can you not smile with this song. She may be a trainwreck former teen idol, but this song is sure to get you through Target when it comes over the loud speakers and you're fending off women for the last toaster oven.

6. Straight No Chaser - 12 Days of Christmas
I'm a big fan of mash-ups and this one is pure perfection! Got to love the creativity and talent of these guys!

7. Bob Rivers - The Chimney Song
This song is pure nostalgia. This CD would get played over and over again in my house (explains the sarcasm instilled in me as a child) and this song was one of the best! It was a tight race between this ditty and "12 Pains of Christmas"!

8.Hanson - What Christmas Means to Me
Remember how I said not to judge. Yeah, this is why! I'm sorry but this song just puts me in a great mood! As if I were walking through the candy cane forest, and passed the swirly twirly gumdrops.

9. Zooey Deschanel & Will Farrel - Baby It's Cold Outside
I honestly love any version of this song but this movie/clip just makes me so happy!

10. Michael Buble - Any Song... Ever
This guy could sing me the phonebook and I'd be entertained but you put those pipes to the smooth sounds of Christmas and I am swept away into a winter wonderland!

Updated:
Soon to be favorite: Kelly Clarkson - Underneath the Tree
I think this may take over as the next "All I Want For Christmas Is You" with the poppy beat and I can't deny that this jam has already put a bit of pep in my step while I'm out facing the mall crowds.

Again, these are just my faves, let me know what songs you love in the comments below or on facebook! Stay tuned for my 10 LEAST favorite Christmas songs... because I mean you can only listen to so many Carpenters songs.
